Cheerleading Club
Students learned basic cheerleading fundamentals, including body movement, clapping, and projecting their voices for cheering, as well as fun cheers and how to generate school spirit! A coach for a local cheerleading organization coached this fun and energetic club.

Chess Club
Chess club is for all children who would like to learn or continue to learn the basic strategies involved in playing chess.

Craft, Scrapbooking & Jewellery Clubs
This club is for all children who enjoy arts and crafts and all the fun that goes with it! Under the direction of a talented instructor passionate about all things crafty, students will enjoy all sorts of different crafts – stamping, scrapbooking, making cards, jewellery, painting etc. Doing a variety of crafts allows children to express their creativity and showcase their talents.

Robotics Club
Students develop computer and mechanical engineering skills through the concepts of programming and control with hands-on experiences that relate back to the real world. Students will build inventions using pieces. They then create a program for their invention using software, an easy to use powerful programming language. Next, they download their program to their robots using a special infrared transmitter. Their creation can now interact with the environment, fully autonomous without the need for computer. Each element is easy to learn and gives you a proportional amount of programming power. It encompasses a logical linear learning process

Sketching Club
Anyone can be an artist! Students develop their own special talents and abilities. Fun-filled exercises show students how the drawing process can be broken down into easy-to-follow steps. Students are shown how to use basic shapes to begin a picture and how to slowly add other shapes, lines and details until it is complete. Basic sketching techniques such as shading, dimension, line, colour and details are introduced. A variety of subjects will be explored such as: shapes, animals, nature, cartoon characters and even everyday items. Pastels and charcoal will be explored!

Quilting Club
This club is for all children who enjoy sewing or working with their hands. Quilting is an age old tradition that is coming back into fashion!
Under the direction of a local seamstress, students enjoy designing and putting together their very own creation.
Students are provided with quilting kit with all that they need to create a beautiful keepsake.
