The Grade 2 class had the opportunity to share in our cultural diversity.  One of the mothers from our group came to teach us all about the Muslim celebration of Milad Un Nabi, that is marked this year from February 5th-9th.  It is a celebration to mark the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.  We got to learn about the Arabic alphabet, and to learn about washing rituals before prayer, and we all got to taste a delicious Apricot drink!  What a great way to experience something very new to most of us!

In French class, the Grade 4 students were busy sketching their "imaginary thief."  They did a great job with describing the features in French and then painting them. It was a creative and a "laughing" experience marking the end of unit 2!

This week, the preschool children spent time putting a puppet show together!

The boys and girsl were busy in the dramatic play area, playing "house" and dressing up.

The sensory table was filled with rice & cups for "fill-and-spill" play.

The children were also busy with a "cozy-scribbles activity" under the table.
