Spring Skiing in February!
Grade 4 and 5 students had a phenomenal year of skiing! All three ski days were warm with amazing conditions.
As always, skiing was closely supervised with a high adult:child ratio, and children were required to ski in control at all times. Continual turns were also required - this is how children get their "ski legs", and learn to ski in a safe, controlled manner.
Students experienced a variety of runs through the day, some easier giving them a break, and some more difficult, challenging them to use their form, edges, and strength to stay in control. It was wonderful to see their skiing progress.
