That's wonderful to hear! Mrs. L has been building on the phonics base taught by Miss J., adding more sight words, and they are really looking at how everything comes together for reading. THe JK readers will start going home this week, and you will see how they progress!

I cannot believe my daughter can read now!! Yesterday at home she took one book out of shelf and told me there was a same one at school, then she started to read. Even though not exact word to word on some pages, she did read the whole book! What a surprise!!
